Graphic Design Direction
During the Dell merger with major technology company EMC, the company structure and roles and responsibilities of top-level individuals were changing. It was important to provide a clear, comprehensive business outline to the Executive Leadership team in a time of constant change. Dell wanted this communications Blueprint to be a detailed document of the structure and architecture of the merged company.
Designing the Blueprint
Ballyhoo is a long-term partner with Dell on their visual communication strategy; thus, they were the obvious partner for this project. Ballyhoo worked with the Business Architecture Team to craft the merger story their internal team needed to hear with a communications Blueprint.
In the past, Ballyhoo worked with Dell to create simple documents for announcements about company transitions. With this project, we were able to use our expertise to counsel the client on the right design solution and supporting graphics. We worked with them to bring their messaging to life beyond their standard templates.
We created a newly designed digital PDF document for Dell that included a robust narrative, reinforced by custom infographics and imagery. Additionally, we created an email header and PowerPoint graphics for additional launch materials to incorporate cohesive visuals around this story.
