The newly created Dell CCO group is a division of the global organization devoted to customer advocacy that develops and executes a comprehensive customer experience strategy grounded in the relentless pursuit of their customers’ success. The group is led by Karen Quintos, Chief Customer Officer (CCO). Under Karen’s leadership, the CCO organization leads Dell’s customer strategy and programs, with the goals of maximizing customer satisfaction, acquisition, retention and profitability.
The newly created group was going to have a booth presence at Dell EMC World for the first time. Karen knew they needed a way to allow attendees to explore the stories of four different customer service offerings through a digital media presentation in a way that was engaging and touch-screen navigational.
Ballyhoo had experience with Dell EMC World in the past and had partnered on numerous projects with Karen and her team in her previous role as Chief Market Officer. We were a natural fit to help on this new endeavor from the very beginning of the digital media presentation project.
Interactive Means Engaging
The CCO team came to Ballyhoo with a lot of disparate content and graphics. They needed help creating an attention-grabbing, seamless and user-friendly tool. They wanted the piece to be interactive through touch-screen technology and dynamic enough to engage attendees to interact with the display and learn more of the story. They also wanted a solution that could be easily updated down the road to include new information and programs.
Ballyhoo had extensive experience in creating navigational digital media presentations for a wide variety of clients. We knew how to walk the user through complex information and provide a greater understanding of the information presented.
Ballyhoo created an interactive touch-screen digital media presentation for the group that included both video and animation. The digital media presentation allowed the user to learn about the different brand stories of Dell’s offerings at his or her leisure.
The group received positive feedback from colleagues and customers on the presentation. It told their brand story consistently and helped to engage traffic at their booth.
