Feeling Good About Corporate Culture
For more than 30 years Enterprise Bank & Trust has served the lifetime financial needs of privately-held businesses, their owner families and other success-minded individuals. They tailor their services to fit the needs of their clients and have all the capabilities of the largest financial companies with the personal relationship orientation of a community bank.
When a new CEO joined the company, he wanted to connect with employees by starting a simple acknowledgement program called Feel Good Friday, emphasizing a strong corporate culture and community involvement of their team. Each week the CEO selected an employee that was defining excellence in the workplace, and giving back in their community. The CEO was familiar with the work of Ballyhoo and knew our company personality was a good match for the campaign and what he wanted to achieve.
Branding a Good Feeling
The vision for Feel Good Friday was a print campaign to include emails, images and internal messaging. The CEO came to Ballyhoo looking for a logo to brand the campaign and give it a distinctive look, tone and feel (LTF). He wanted to break out of the mold of their usual design guidelines and shake things up visually with fun images and colors that popped off the page and matched his engaging personality. He also wanted the campaign to be something that was “out of the box” compared to the typical visual design of a financial institution.
Ballyhoo was more than ready to take on the challenge! Our designers created several logo options and design standards to present to the CEO for use in the printed campaign.
Feel Good Friday Videos Engage
Enterprise was so pleased with the direction Ballyhoo took with the logo project they came back to use when they were ready to create Feel Good Friday videos. The team at Enterprise knew video would be a unique way to garner notice and communicate to their audience through their internal website. Enterprise had recently shot high-quality video but wasn’t sure what the next steps were. Ballyhoo was able to wrap those videos in a professional package, improve the video quality and develop motion graphic enhancements.
We created a dozen Feel Good Friday videos for Enterprise and are on board to continue the campaign next year, working with them on new options to grow the campaign in creative ways. Ballyhoo has also been named the video agency of record for Enterprise due to our years of experience and production background.
Enterprise couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The Feel Good Friday videos have a high view rate with their internal team and the CEO is happy with direction it took. They are now expanding the campaign so the entire leadership team can participate. As an added bonus, the videos have been a way for senior leadership to have exposure to staff. The video campaign has increased employee engagement and helped share the CEO’s vision of corporate culture.
