Adding Capacity and Perspective
When a new CEO took the reins at Laird, he decided it was time to break the mold of the traditional sales conference. He introduced an annual leadership conference so he could talk to his leadership team and together they could plan the future.
With new leadership and a new direction to embark on their first-ever Laird Global Leadership Conference, the company knew they needed to bring in an outside partner. The in-house creative and events teams were stretched thin with existing responsibilities. They didn’t have the capacity to provide the necessary time and attention to the larger event and fresh approaches on the creative. So, Laird turned to Ballyhoo to provide additional capacity and an outside perspective.
Creative Management From Start to Finish
Ballyhoo came onboard to create the look, tone and feel (LTF) of the Laird Global Leadership Conference. They also helped to manage the event flow, communication theming and messaging, including all of the speaker presentations and event branding. The Ballyhoo team even traveled on-site to manage the venue and production vendors to ensure a seamless program.
Continued Success Year-Over-Year
The event was a huge success, providing the attendees with a clearly defined vision and direction. The Laird and Ballyhoo events teams have continued to work together on each of the last three Laird Global Leadership Conferences.
