Rackspace was looking to host a series of high-profile marketing events to showcase how they were solving IT problems using the cloud. The Rackspace Solve events were targeted for industry experts, including both their internal team and customers.
The Rackspace team faced two challenges, and they were looking for a solid partner that could jump in to help with both. First, Rackspace knew the content for the mainstage event would be coming in fast and furious and would be running down to the wire on show day. Second, Rackspace intended to host a series of Rackspace Solve events and knew they didn’t have the internal staff to support this throughout the year. Thus, they needed a nimble partner available to be an integral part of the global Rackspace Solve events team.
Support in Preparation and On-Site
Ballyhoo became an extension of the internal Rackspace creative team, managing and designing all presentations for the mainstage and breakouts. Ballyhoo was able to further support the ongoing event series by sending a dedicated Ballyhoo team on-site to manage the execution of all the presentation content and mainstage presentations and videos.
Ongoing Team Extension
After partnering on 17 events across the globe, the Ballyhoo team remains a significant extension of the core Rackspace Solve events team and continues to support the events on an ongoing basis. The client has stated time and time again that they could not pull off such a high-profile event without the Ballyhoo team.
